On Nov. 17, 2007, Zac Taylor of Max Meadows, Virginia, headed out to the woods hoping to cross paths with this 17-point whitetail that was sporting a 10 1/2 inch drop tine.
Many hunters in the area had seen the monster buck earlier in the season. As luck would have it, several does bedded down near Zac's stand, and this big boy couldn't resist the smell of those beautiful does! Using his .30-06 Savage, Zac dropped the big buck in his tracks!
