On Nov. 21, 2006, Gordy Oates of Lonoke, Arkansas, was hunting with Keith Graham of Sureshot Outfitters in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, when he crossed paths with this Canadian bruiser.
Using an M77 Ruger 7mm Magnum, Gordy anchored the 13-pointer. It was his 13th year to hunt north of the border in Saskatchewan.
