Trophy Photos From Our Readers -- April 2008
Les Lambert, Ontario, Canada
On the morning of Nov. 2, 2007, bowhunter Les Lambert of Lowbanks, Ontario, Canada, headed out to try his luck.
It was 25 degrees outside with a heavy frost. At 7:30 a.m., Les spotted this bruiser coming across a winter wheat field. The big buck worked his way along a scrape line straight to Les's position.
"He finished working a scrape in front of me and turned quartering away at 23 yards," Les said. "I then released my two-bladed, Rage 2 broadhead. The shot was perfect and the buck fell at 30 yards. Not too bad for a 60-year-old man!"
Les's awesome whitetail officially scored 203 1/2 inches gross, and 196 6/8 net!
