Steve Wagner of Cedar, Michigan, was bowhunting in northeastern Missouri on Nov. 1, 2005, when he heard some grunting in a nearby stand of timber at around 8 a.m.
“I picked up my binoculars and saw that it was a great buck,” Steve said. “He was about 75 yards away, so I hit my grunt call a couple of times and he proceeded to walk right to me!” Steve made a perfect, 10-yard shot on the 150-inch 13-pointer. Steve’s trophy buck sported a unique double main beam on its right side.
