Major Lisandro Murphy, Virginia
 On Nov. 9, 2006, Major Lisandro Murphy of Queens, New York, shot this beautifully symmetrical 120-class main-framed 4x4. Being on military leave at the time, Major Murphy was hunting in Suffolk, Virginia.
After using a combination of rattling, grunting and doe bleating on a very crisp morning, the buck came into a swamp clearing to investigate the sounds.
One shot from the Major's Thompson/Center Encore 7mm. Remington magnum anchored this fine buck in his tracks. We salute Major Murphy for his service to our country and for his obvious shooting skills!
