Bard Biddle, Kentucky
Brad Biddle of Paris, Kentucky, was hunting in Bourbon County on November 17, 2006, when he crossed paths with this 11-point point brute.
"It was 40 degrees and about an hour before dark when I saw him all by himself cruising for does," Brad says. "I grunted and snort-wheezed a few times, and that along with several doe-in-estrus bleats from my Knight and Hale call soon had him quartering the wind in my direction.
I shot him at about 80 yards with a Remington .243. After waiting 60 days and having my deer scored by Mr. John Phillips, the buck grossed 180 3/8 and netted 167 4/8 typical points, putting him in the top 15 for the 2006 season. After talking to Mr. Bill Cooper, I was told that my buck is the first B&C entry (Three Year Awards Period) ever from Bourbon County!"
