Tom Larson spotted this monster 16-pointer on his farm in southwestern Wisconsin on the afternoon of Nov. 22, 2008. He watched the buck for 30 minutes until it came within range.
When the big buck finally step into range, he shot it with his .300 WSM at 280 yards. The buck grossed 170 and weighed 215 pounds field dressed. “I’ve hunted 36 years to get a chance at a buck like that,” Tom said.
