On Sept. 30, 2006, Bill Wissestad of Sparta, Wisconsin, was bowhunting next to a soybean field when this 160-class 8-pointer stepped out of the brush along with three other bucks.

As the bachelor group grazed past Bill’s position, he was able to close the deal on this 20 1/2-inch-wide monster with his Mathews bow. The bruiser dropped within sight!
