On Sunday Nov. 4, 2007, Mark Kent of Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut, was bowhunting in Dutchess County, New York. Mark had just completed a doe bleat/buck grunt sequence when he heard a deer coming behind the Hemlock tree he was in.
Mark stood up and saw the 154 5/8 inch 11-pointer coming in with his nose to the ground. At 20 yards, Mark made a perfect shot with his Mathews Switchback.
