Mark Popp was recently hunting with Hans Muenchow of Artemis Outfitting out of Eriksdale, Manitoba, when he shot this outstanding buck at 225 yards with his trusty Ruger 7mm Magnum.
The buck was shot while crossing a frozen bog in search of some does. After six years of hunting with Artemis Outfitting, this was Mark's best buck to date. With heavy mass, four sticker points and a 2 1/2 inch hole in the right antler to give it plenty of character, Mark's Manitoba bruiser tallied up a gross score of 154 7/8 inches and weighed in at 185 pounds!
