Trophy Photos From Our Readers -- December 2006
Gary Johnson, South Carolina
 Longtime North American Whitetail subscriber Gary Johnson of Prosperity, South Carolina, shot this outstanding buck on Nov. 14, 2006, while hunting near Gypsumville, Manitoba, (about 3 hours north of Winnipeg). Gary was in a stand that overlooked a small clear cut area in a large section of timber.
Several trails led in and out and this buck decided to visit a scrape on one of those trail. It was a windy day, about 20 degrees. Gary was hunting with a Remington .270 and he made a perfect 125-yard shot. Having wood shavings in its burrs from recent rubbings, Gary's 5x5 trophy scored about 135.
