It was opening day of the 2007 firearms season in New York State and Brian Nassar had been sitting in his ladder stand for about 30 minutes looking for the "big one" to make an appearance.
Brian was hunting in Steuben County near the town of Caton. Around 8 a.m., Brian looked down and there he was at 20 yards. "He had just walked up the same path that I had used coming in," Brian said. "One shot from my Mini-14 produced the biggest buck in my 34 years of hunting whitetails! Isn't life grand!"
