Tamara Duick, Minnesota
On Nov. 3, 2007, opening day of Minnesota's 2007 firearms season, 23-year-old Tamara Duick of Maple Lake, Minnesota, shot this beautiful 10-pointer while hunting near Lake of the Woods.
It all happened about 8:30 a.m. Tamara was hunting out of a tripod stand and using her uncle's .25-06.
Note the dark, one-inch mane growing down the neck of this unique, 190-pound brute. This was Tamara's first hunt ever and first time to ever hold her uncle's rifle!
