Last season, Joe Bormann of Overland Park, Kansas was hunting in Linn County during firearms season when he caught up with this long-tined 10-pointer on a downwind trail shortly after daylight.

The buck was following a doe that had come through 15 minutes earlier. Joe was using his dad's 55-year-old 12-gauge shotgun and he made a perfect 65-yard shot.

Despite two chipped antlers the buck green-scored in the mid-130s. The tips of the buck's 20-inch main beams almost touched!
