After 31 years of hunting management areas and driving all over the state of Alabama looking for Mr. Big with very little luck, Keith Self finally started hunting on his own 40-acre tract two years ago.

The land is located just outside of the city limits of Haleyville, Alabama. And can you believe it? In 2005 he bagged a nice 9-pointer and last year he shot this gnarly critter!

"I guess there truly is no place like home!" the happy hunter commented.
