 On November 20, 2006, Jeff Phillips of Mt. Crawford, Virginia, connected with this Saskatchewan bruiser while hunting with Double Arrow Oufitters.
“I had been hunting for less than 30 minutes in Canada when a big buck appeared in the very dim pre-dawn light," Jeff explained.
"He was obviously the bull of the woods.’ He was guarding a doe and he chased away several other smaller bucks.
My .300 magnum loaded with a 180-grain Nosler Accubond bullet found its mark perfectly.” The massive 10-point whitetail buck weighed a whopping 348 pounds live weight and gross scored nearly 150 B&C inches!
