Trevor Hoover, Indiana
 Indiana bowhunter Trevor Hoover has taken several nice bucks off a certain five-acre parcel, and this big 8-pointer is no exception. In fact, Trevor spends nearly every day in late October and early November on the property in his stand.
He arrowed this fine trophy buck on Nov. 5, 2005. Despite the temperature being a warm 60 degrees, the buck was trailing a doe.
"He made the mistake of coming to a Primos can call and gave me a 30-yard shot as he was quartering toward my position," Trevor said. "He went down within sight. He weighed 224 pounds field-dressed and netted 145 2/8 P&Y points."
