Doug Ferguson, Georgia
Doug Ferguson of Dallas, Georgia, was hunting in Meriwether County, Georgia, on Nov. 3, 2006, when he encountered this big, bad 8-pointer.
The buck was chasing a doe as Doug anchored it at 40 yards with his .300 Winchester magnum. The buck had an 18-inch inside spread and grossed 140.
Previously Doug had gotten a photo of the buck on his trail camera.
