 After watching six bucks go by chasing does on Nov. 17, 2007, Steve Helms finally shot this 12-point brute at 40 yards with his Mossberg 12-gauge.
Steve, a native of Pike County, Illinois, who now lives in Pontiac, was hunting on his dad’s farm in Pike County. Steve’s buck grossed 148 inches.
