Robert E. Walden of West Terre Haute, Indiana was planning to go hunting on the afternoon of Nov. 3, 2004, but he had to work late. He debated about whether or not to stay home that afternoon. However, since he had just arrowed a nice doe four days earlier, he decided to give it a try. "I got up in my stand about 3:45 p.m.," Robert said. "My bow was still on the ground when I heard a crashing sound. I looked over to my left and saw a pure white buck about 100 yards away. He was headed in my direction and he had four other bucks following him. I got my bow up, and when the albino eight-pointer was about 18 yards out I shot and missed. He ran a short distance and I shot again. This time my arrow didn't miss and the rest is history!"
