Trophy Photos From Our Readers -- November 2006
Rick Hall, North Carolina
Rick Hall of Archdale, North Carolina, shot this awesome main-framed 11-pointer on Dec. 10, 2005, while dog-hunting on some big woods paper company land in Richmond County.
“This was the first and only buck I saw during the entire hunting season which started on Oct. 15,” Rick said.
“The buck has four kicker points on the left side and the G-2s and G-3s are 12 inches long and 11 inches long respectively. This is a really good buck for central Richmond County because the area has almost no agriculture and very little private land. Our club’s lease is in a dogging region and I shot the buck running in front of my own dogs. This makes the buck even more special to me. Hunting deer with dogs in the Deep South is a way of life that has been handed down for hundreds of years.”
