Colin Nummela, Minnesota
 Colin Nummela of Moose Lake, Minnesota, harvested this 237-pound, 15-point buck just before dark on opening day of the 2007 Minnesota rifle season. He was hunting just north of the town of Kettle River. Colin is a member of the 20-member East Kalevala Gun Club.
The club has approximately 200 acres in Kalevala Township. The buck had been hunted for five years by members of the club and several trail camera photos had been taken in recent years. Amazingly, sheds from the big buck had been found the last four out of five seasons as well.
Colin's old monarch sported a 22-inch inside spread and the rack green-scored an impressive 163 inches.
