Trophy Photos From Our Readers -- November 2007
Steve Harris, Tennessee
As of the 2007 season, it had been over 19 years since Steve Harris of Tennessee had been deer hunting. In early November, he headed to Madison County with his .50 caliber Thompson/Center muzzleloader.
On Nov. 4, he saw this awesome 10-pointer with a doe and another buck. Steve returned the next day and placed a stand just inside the woods from the field where he had observed the deer. He climbed into his stand at about 4:15 p.m. that afternoon. About an hour later, several does appeared.
Then came a nice 8-pointer. A few minutes later, the big 10 appeared. Even though he had never hunted with a muzzleloader before, Steve knew what to do. The trophy buck grossed just over 150 inches!
