After seeing our story about the "412 Buck" in the July 2008 issue of North American Whitetail, Doug Willard sent us this picture of an equally large whitetail that he shot in Canada. On Nov. 1, 1999, Doug was hunting near Pierceland, Saskatchewan, when he shot this gargantuan heavyweight.

The buck tipped the scales at between 410 and 420 pounds live and field dressed at 329 pounds. The massive rack grossed 176 inches as a main-frame 5x5 with split G-2s. "With all the Internet talk about heavy bucks and now your article I wanted to show you my buck," Doug said.
