Trent Sipsy of Gainesville, Georgia, had seen this wide buck twice at 80-plus yards before moving his stand closer to where the buck was leaving a wheat field. Trent connected with the buck on the morning of November 11, 2007. The shot was made at 42 yards while the deer was checking the field for does.
Trent's Peach State trophy green-scored 161 P&Y points and sported a 24-inch spread. Trent, two of his brother's and his best friend like to bow hunt in Kansas when they are lucky enough to draw tags. However, with bucks like this one in Georgia, maybe they need to stay home!
