Chris Robbins of Columbus, Indiana, arrowed this incredible drop tine buck on Nov. 4, 2006. With a non-typical score of 213 6/8, it ranks No. 1 in the Hoosier Record Buck Program for Archery and is No. 2 overall in the Pope and Young records for the state of Indiana.
Chris' beautiful whitetail has a split drop tine coming off of the left side and the massive rack also had double brows and a G-2 that measured over 15 inches long. "The picture shows me holding the antlers on the right side of the deer and my best friend Brad Shepherd on the left," Chris says.
"I include Brad in everything about this deer because he got me started bowhunting and I harvested this buck while hunting with him as a guest on the land that he gained permission to hunt. I had never seen a deer with a drop tine while on stand and I never dreamed that a deer that I would harvest would be a state record!"
