Charlie Weatherholt, Indiana
Charlie Weatherholt of Derby, Indiana, was hunting the day after Thanksgiving in 2007 during Indiana's regular firearms season. At about 4:30 p.m., this awesome buck came out of a thicket and walked directly toward Charlie's position.
When the buck got within about 60 yards, Charlie aimed his .50 caliber muzzleloader and made a perfect shot. The big 11-pointer sported a 22-inch spread and had 7-inch bases. The huge rack grossed 170 1/8 inches.
This made Charlie the back-to-back winner for two years in a row (2006 and 2007) at the big buck contest at E and E Guns in Perry County, Indiana!
