Hip Boot Bruiser In Louisiana

 The date was Dec. 12, 2001 and it had been raining heavily in Louisiana. High water was everywhere and Max Swayze of Monroe was slogging thorugh 15-inches of water when he saw a large buck moving through a thicket. He tried to get a shot but the buck got away before he could draw a bead.
Max grunted a few times in an effort to bring the buck back. Suddenly he saw a second, much larger buck traveling behind the first. With a quick shot from his .270 the buck went down.
Max then tied the big whitetail to his belt and floated it out to his ATV. The big 9-pointer was 4 1/2 years old, sported a 20 inch spread and grossed 152 inches!
