Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 2007, was a great day for Terry Freiburger of Dubuque, Iowa. Terry, who was hunting with a brand-new Bob Lee recurve, did some rattling at 8:50 a.m. Moments later this bruiser showed up.
“It only took me one glance at his bow tines to know that I wanted to give him a ride home in the back of my truck,” Terry said.
“He came right on in and offered me the exact shot I was hoping for at 12 yards.” Terry’s trophy grossed 154 7/8 and netted 139 6/8.
