10 Great Bowhunting Accessories for 2012

10 Great Bowhunting Accessories for 2012

There's more to bowhunting than a bow and arrow. Here are some useful archery accessories that you might consider using this fall.

Archer Xtreme Carbon Triad

The Archer Xtreme Carbon Triad stabilizer is made from a 3KCarbon plane and dampening core designed to stop the vibrations of transferred energy. It is 120 times stronger than steel and the triangular shape is designed to be stronger than conventional tubular designs. The model also incorporates a TPR over-mold on the dampening cone with Triad three flex blades that absorb energy transferred to the tip.

Extreme Archery Products Shrink Fletch

Extreme Archery Shrink Fletch is the fastest way to repair the fletching on arrows. Simply slip the fletching on any carbon or aluminum shaft, dip in hot water and the fletching shrinks tight onto the shaft. Shrink Fletch is now available in a 3-inch model for crossbows.

Firenock Crossbow Nocks

Firenock now offers six nocks designed for crossbow shooters. The nocks use compression fitting or dual O-ring designs to fit into shafts and allow easy adjustment for proper bolt tuning. Available in Firenock's C-style, D-style, F-style, J-style, Q-style and V-style nocks.

G5 Vault

A container designed to safely hold both expandable and fixed-blade broadheads can be found in G5's aluminum top shell Vault, which is reinforced for durability and keeping broadheads protected during travel.

Lumenok LumaLoop

The Lumenok LumaLoop is an illuminated D-Loop that aids hooking your release in low-light conditions. The cord is white when tied to the bowstring, but glows green in the darkness after having stored luminescence from the sun or a flashlight.

NuFletch Spectrum

NuFletch Archery's Spectrum 'instant fletching system ' allows vertical bow and crossbow hunters to re-fletch arrows within seconds in the field or on the range. A machined aluminum ferrule contains three precisely milled slots engineered to align vanes and lock them into position. The ferrule screws into the back end of the arrow via a common RPS insert, just as a broadhead screws into the front. NuFletch Spectrum Standard models are shipped with Norway Industries vanes.

Plano 1133 Manta Crossbow Case

This case is engineered to fit a variety of styles and configurations of most of today's crossbows. It is 44 3/4 inches long x 38 3/4 wide by 13 1/8 high and features Plano's patented PillarLock System, multiple tie-down straps and bolt and quiver storage areas.

Rage Cage Quiver

The Rage Cage Quiver is a compact, low-profile and ultra-light quiver designed expressly for holding Rage and other mechanical broadhead-tipped arrows. The quiver weighs only 8 ounces and holds up to five arrows. It mounts to bows using the SnapTrap tension adjustable snap-on design and is made from carbon fiber-dipped polymer.

Specialty Archery Ultra Lite Peeps

Ultra Lite Peeps come in 1/8-inch 37-degree and 45-degree models, the former designed for bows 40 inches and shorter. The peeps are designed to accept all of Specialty Archery's Super Peep 1/8-inch apertures, clarifiers and verifiers. Ultra Lite Peeps come in a wide variety of colors for personal preference and added visibility and sighting.

Tenzing TZ 2220 Pack

This is a great all-around hunting pack from Tenzing that weighs a super-light 4 ounces, yet offers a durable and protective 2,220 cubic inches of storage. The advanced strength panels are reinforced with Dyneema, one of the world's strongest yet lightest fibers around an internal aluminum frame to provide rigidity and aid in load management. Eleven compartments and six specialized zip pockets contain gear from small electronics to extra clothing. The foldout rain cover provides extra weatherproofing protection when needed.
