Brand Daves, Texas

Many whitetail hunters never harvest a true monster buck or make a 200-yard kill. Brand Daves of Dallas, Texas, accomplished both goals before turning 15! The young hunter used a bipod and a .270 to drop this 12-pointer on Nov. 26, 1994. The shot was made at 7:30 a.m., and the air temperature was 58 degrees. Bill Daves served as Brand's guide for this hunt, which took place on the family ranch in Hamilton County.
