20 Must-See Freak Bucks

A look at some of our favorite freak bucks from the last year and beyond!

ADAM KASENO

While hunting in Wisconsin, Adam Kaseno was able to drop this fantastic odd ball that grossed 202 inches.

HARRY PAT MITCHELL

While hunting near Huron, South Dakota, Harry Pat Mitchell was able to get the job done through freezing rain on this 27-point freak of nature. He even had to salt the steps of his stand!

JADE TAYLOR

"Freak Nasty" was taken by 9-year-old Jade Taylor of Sussex County, Delaware and scored 176 non-typical with 20 scorable points!

JERRY KASSINGER

This massive brute was taken in Springfield Township, Ohio by Jerry Kassinger Jr. -- a block and a half from his home! The official score on this monster was 215 4/8 B&C.

JOSHUA HENRION

This massive Saskatchewan buck scored 207 6/8 non typical. Joshua had two different stare downs and eventually won!

CRAIG CHAMBLEE

Craig Chamblee's Jones County, Georiga buck featured 15 points, a rough score of 165 inches, a non-typical rack with a great drop tine and a 19 3/4-inch outside spread. The bases are 5 2/8 inches and on the side with the drop tine is 8 4/8 inches.

KEVIN JAEGER

Kevin Jaeger's double-drop-tined Missouri mega-buck green grossed 201 5/8 inches!

LANCE FAIDLEY

Public land buck! Lance Faidley's freaky monster scored 209 inches.

LANDIN LONGTIN

Careful not to prick your fingers on this one! While hunting the Somberito Ranch in Laredo, Texas, Landin Longtin was fortunate enough to harvest this freaky cactus buck.

LANNY BOLEN

A blast from the past - A beaming Lanny Bolen (left) shows off the Medusa Buck with his hunting partner and host Frank Norris. The buck was taken on Thanksgiving Day in 1967. After 40 years of remaining relatively obscure, the rack was scored in March 2009 at the Dixie Deer Classic. It tallied up a whopping 249 7/8 gross B&C inches.

ROBERT TAYLOR BUCK

The rack of Robert's amazing buck contains 18 abnormal points, including three drop tines, and it totals an incredible 92 inches of antler bone. The typical portion of the 6x5 rack totals 172 2/8. 248 6/8

RYLAND BEAUDET

On the last day of hunting season, Ryland Beaudet was on his way to school near Weasel Creek, Alberta and decided to check out a field one last time. To his surprise he spotted an absolute boss buck, that he quickly dispatched. The buck grossed 194 5/8 inches.

SAM DERUGEN

That's not a cow! This rare 8-point piebald buck was taken by Sam Derugen of Woodward, PA.

SCOTT CARLSON

Scott Carlson's 255-inch big boy should be the Sunflower State's new #1 muzzleloader and make the top ten list overall.

SCOTT ODENBRETT

Netting 247 1/8 Inches as a nontypical, Scott Odenbrett's buck will rank second in Pope & Young records for non-typical Missouri bow kills. It is currently the only non-typical bowkill from Barry County, Missouri in P& Y records.

JEFF KAISER

Jeff Kaiser's Licking County giant sported 76 inches of abnormal growth and 29 measurable points, enough to push its nontypical score over 219 inches!

TOM TAYLOR

Tom Taylor's Columbia County, Wisconsin buck tallied a net non-typical score of 226 4/8, enough to make it the highest scoring non-typical bowkill in Wisconsin of 2010. Photo courtesy of Tom Taylor

TRAVIS MEDLIN

Three main beams! Travis Medlin was fortunate to take this freaky Illinois buck that green scored 208 7/8.

JD EMISON

The Tennessee "Treetop" buck had 24-scorable points and scored 175 2/8.

MIKE GABE

This Prairie State freak buck featured two 12-inch drop tines on both sides and green scored 240-inches non-typical.
