9 New Accessories for 2012

From decoys to camera mounts, here's a look at useful gear for deer hunting.

Carry-Lite E-Z Buck

Hunting over decoys is extremely popular, and Carry-Lite Decoys makes a great realistic buck decoy that is extra light called the E-Z Buck. The skin of the decoy is made of fabric and was created using high definition photo imaging to creating a lifelike look that will fool bucks and does. To add more realism, the decoy utilizes taxidermy deer eyes and a tail that moves in the wind.

Flextone Echo HD 80

Hunters who want a versatile call they can use to deer hunt with one day and coyote hunt with the next will like the Flextone Echo HD 80 electronic call. This call comes with a handheld remote and two speakers that can spin 360 degrees. The call is programmed with 80 sounds. Everything from deer, to coyote to wolf and turkey are packed into this electronic call. Stop bucks in a shooting lane by placing the speakers right where you want them to stop.

Flambeau Flocked Boss Babe

Flambeau Decoys has a new doe decoy called the Flocked Boss Babe. This decoy comes with all the great features found on the original Boss Babe like a removable head and body parts that fit inside the decoy for easy transport. The difference is this decoy is flocked giving it a hide-like texture and appearance that is quieter when transporting the decoy.

Hunters Specialties True Talker Legacy

Hunters Specialties has a new grunt tube called the True Talker Legacy. This new call has a longer tube resulting in deep tones to sound like big bucks. Like the Original True Talker, the Legacy can replicate buck, doe and fawn vocalizations. This call can be adjusted with the fingertips so the call doesn't have to be taken apart to go from a buck grunt to a doe bleat.

Knight & Hale Hands Free Soft Grunter

Knight & Hale has an easy-to-use grunt call called the Hands Free Soft Grunter. This soft grunt tube can easily be operated by placing it in the mouth and blowing. It is only two inches long and can be used without hands. With this call, bowhunters can draw their bow and give a grunt or two at the same time.

MAD Hyper Growl

MAD Calls is always thinking outside the box when it comes to game calls. One example is the all-new Hyper Growl. The Hyper Growl is much like the MAD Buck Growl they came out with last year, except this year's model has a ventilator tube that has been added to help hunters mimic a buck's nasal passageway, creating an extremely lifelike sound that, combined with the Buck Growl, can bring a buck in close. The adjustable trigger can be set between three and a half and four pounds.

Primos Frantic Fawn

The Frantic Fawn is a new fawn decoy being offered by Primos that works well as a predator decoy or for fooling bucks and does and gives them confidence to approach a setup. It has a realistic hide, inflates and deflates quickly and comes with the Primos' Decoy Heart which adds motion.

Primos Lil' Shawty

The Primos Lil' Shawty hands-free call is a five-in-one call that has an adjustable reed so it can imitate the sounds of bucks and does. From bleats to grunts, this call does it all and is easy to use even while at full draw or staring down the barrel of a gun.

ThermaCELL Lantern

During the early season, the only thing more necessary than a lantern at night around deer camp is some method of repelling mosquitoes, and ThermaCELL has found a way to combine the two. ThermaCELL's Mosquito Repellent Outdoor Lantern protects a 15x15 foot area against 98 percent of mosquitoes, black flies and no-see-ums while offering sufficient light for eating supper or stowing your gear.
