We've seen some strange whitetails over the years here at North American Whitetail, from a 30-point antlered doe to a freakish 300-inch monster non-typical. When we hear about a "cactus buck," you better believe our interest is piqued, and for good reason.
When Russell Nickel encountered his "cactus buck" he was uncertain about what he was looking at.
"I was looking at this buck and trying to figure out what was going on," Nickel said. "I knew there was something weird about him."
As Nickel continued to observe the buck, he assumed the rack was tangled in some twine. However, after almost passing up on his opportunity, Nickel finally decided to kill the buck and find out for sure what he was looking at.
Check out Nickel's buck in this Muzzy Moment segment.
