For students that love the outdoors, fall breaks from college often times mean a chance to get back to hunting. And that was the case with Lance Faidley who was back home from Penn State University over Thanksgiving weekend and naturally, out in the woods chasing whitetails.
Hunting on public land in Ohio with his bow in high winds and nasty snow, Lance was able to harvest this magnificent buck that scored 209 inches non-typical. Truly the buck of a lifetime.
The best part of the hunt was who he got to hunt with.
"The greatest part of the whole trip was that I got to share it with my father, the man who introduced me to hunting when I was barely able to walk and have been loving it ever since."

Make sure you tell him that again on Father's Day Lance! And what a nice buck...congratulations on being our Deer of the Day!
Want to share your buck with the whitetail world? For Deer of the Day consideration, make sure you submit your best buck (or just something you're proud of) to whitetail@imoutdoors.com . Please include an image and a brief description of the hunt and gear you used. Thanks!
