Eric Stanley had known about this buck for the past three years, but had never had an opportunity at a shot. Wanting to change things up, he decided to hunt from a ground blind one morning in the area he hunts near Kimball, Minnesota and to his delight, his five-year-old daughter Nina asked if she could tag along.
With his good luck charm in tow, Stanley got settled in the blind, readying for the hunt. After spotting a small field mouse running through the blind, the pair looked up and there stood this buck. Stanley was able to drop the monster with his Mathews Solocam from 17 yards.
Congrats on a great deer and way to share the experience with your daughter Eric!
