I hunt on a small lease outside of El Dorado, AR. My stand was located on the edge of a three-year-old cutover that deer used for bedding. On the first weekend of the 2009 bow season, I caught a glimpse of a nice buck easing through the cutover and into the creek bottoms 100 yards away. After the morning hunt, I found were the buck had entered the creek bottom and relocated my stand to that area. Weeks later, on a 60 degree Halloween afternoon, the nice 8 point buck presented me with a 10 yard shot at 6:05pm. My Hoyt Turbo Hawk and Rage broad head were dead on target. Being able to relocate made all the difference.
