Deer of the Day - Hoosier State Buck, Wyatt Hoover

Wyatt Hoover of Indiana took this 150-inch, 12-point on November 25, 2011. It was a windy evening when this nice buck stepped out into the field following a doe. Wyatt shot this buck at 262 yards. using a Remington model 700 chambered in .358 WSSM. The 184-pound buck dropped in his tracks with a perfect high shoulder shot. Wyatt's buck carries 7-inch bases with 25-inch main beams. As the father I'm really proud of him. It made my 2011 firearms season one I will never forget!
