While hunting the second day of New Jersey's bow season in Atlantic County, Al Lipscomb was able to take this fantastic 11-point, still-in-velvet, 7 1/2-year-old buck. The deer came in with two other bucks who had already shed their velvet. Lipscomb was able to get a quartering away shot from 22 yards.
Lipscomb reports that the reason the buck's face looks so puffy in the picture is that the deer hung upside down overnight before this photo was taken.
Congrats on a fantastic buck Al!
