Deer of the Day - Under The Nose Buck, Wesley Russell

Sometimes a big boy is right under your nose without you even knowing it. That was the case with Wesley Russell, who was sitting atop a Kentucky ridge that overlooked a large field with a brushy draw running down the middle.

His morning sit was plagued with high winds and unseasonably warm temperatures. He wasn't seeing anything and around 8:30 a.m. he decided to head to the woods for a change of scenery. As he stood up to start his hike, this massive buck jumped up right in front of him. He had been bedded down with a doe right by Russell all morning long!

The mainframe 8-point buck green grossed 179 inches! Congrats on a fantastic buck Wesley!
