Tim Parris, Georgia

On opening morning of the 1991 gun season in Elbert County, Georgia, Tim Parris was about to shoot a 6- or 8-pointer when this giant ran up and hooked the smaller buck in the rear! Tim, a resident of Sylva, North Carolina, immediately shot the 11-pointer. The deer boasts a gross B&C score of 178 6/8 and a net of 164. Photo by Carl Davis.
