Scott Wahl, Ontario

When Scott Wahl left his home in Stillwater, Minnesota, for a six-day whitetail hunt in Ontario, he didn't know he was setting aside far too much time. But amazingly, only a half-hour into the hunt Scott's .270 echoed through the woods. His prize was this 24-inch basic 10-pointer that dressed out at 220 pounds and scores 177 B&C. The chunky deer was hot on the trail of a doe and a smaller buck when he came within 75 yards of Scott's location.
