I killed this buck November 7th with my Hoyt TurboHawk Bow near Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. I had four days to hunt and it all came together on the last hour of the last day! I hadn't seen a single deer all morning then at 8:50 a.m. everything changed and this monster with stickers and kickers everywhere walked into 12 yards. He gave me a wide open shot at 12 yards.
The Rage broadhead tore him up and he only went 70 yards. The buck has 19 scoreable points and 10 of them are non-typical. We scored him at 201. He had just over 40 inches of non-typical points. Had 6-inch bases and both beams were right at 26 inches. The best part of the whole hunt was that it is the first buck I have ever killed with a bow. -- Timothy Lurk
Congrats on a fantastic buck Tim!
