Winchester Super X Rifle

Winchester Super X Rifle

Whitetail hunters' growing interest in semi-autos extends past the present surge in sporting AR15 rifles to more traditional styles as well. The new Winchester Super X Rifle (SXR) traces a heritage that includes the legendary M1 Garand, M14, and the classic Winchester Model 100.

Employing a modern gas-operated autoloading system, the SXR autoloader offers bolt-action accuracy with a lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting bases, hammer-forged barrel, removable trigger assembly, a detachable box magazine with swing-down floorplate, an international-styled walnut stock, an enlarged trigger guard for safe and accessible control in cold weather, and a positive crossbolt safety.
