Deer Factory: Advice For Better Food Plots

Deer Factory: Advice For Better Food Plots

What hunter doesn't want better food plots?

Dr. James Kroll offers up some great advice in this Deer Factory segment. He's with a Missouri landowner who is in the process of creating his own deer factory.

Kroll looks at several plot locations and discusses the pros and cons of each site, and offers feedback and tips on making each loaction more attractive.

Simple steps like adding chicory to a plot can help to create a year-round forage option while still maintaining the fall attractiveness of the plot for hunting season use. Location of each plot is, of course, critical and Kroll shares some thoughts on hunting locations as well as areas where mineral stations can be added to create a "one-stop" destination for whitetails.
