The Model 870 SPS ShurShot Synthetic Super Slug boasts an extra-heavy, 1-inch diameter 25 1/2-inch-long barrel for a stable shooting platform with high accuracy.
Five longitudinal flutes in the barrel reduce weight and heat buildup, while bolstering barrel rigidity, while six parabolic Ultragon rifling grooves with a 1-in-35-inch twist optimizes slug flight.
