Nikon Riflehunter 1000
Nikon optics have garnered quite a following among hunters, and the Riflehunter 1000 rangefinder promises to build that audience even more. It features Nikon's new Active Brightness Control Viewfinder, which allows for quick reads against any background and in any lighting condition. In bright light, it utilizes a newly designed LCD, and in dark, an orange LED. It also provides a 23 percent wider field of view than Nikon's previous models through its 6x optics. As its name implies, the unit ranges out to 1,000 yards and calculates for any angle up to plus or minus 89 degrees. (

Redfield Revolution
Parent company Leupold & Stevens has breathed new life into the venerable, yet once-defunct Redfield line of optics with the Revolution line of riflescopes. The Summit's 40mm objective lens allows for a compact, low-profile scope while still offering good light transmission.
