Bowstring maintenance is often overlooked. It shouldn't be.
North American Whitetail's Mike Clerkin shares some great advice for maintaining your bow strings -- and ensuring everything attached to the string stays in the right spot.
Think about the components attached to your bow's string and the purpose they serve. Your D-loop is the anchor point for your arrow. If it moves, accuracy can be impacted greatly. The peep sight is a critical part of your aiming system. What happens if it slides up or down?

Bowstring maintenance is about more than simply waxing the string from time to time (though that's important, too). It's about making sure your string and all of its components are in good, working order and each accessory is anchored in place properly.
