Top Bows and Arrows for Summer 2018

Summertime is headed our way, and with it come longer evenings and more time to shoot. If it's time to upgrade your old stick and string, the models shown here are some of the best available for 2018.

Bows

Elite - The all-new Ritual measures 33.25" ATA and weighs 4.3 pounds. It's available in draw-length options from 26.5" to 31" and draw weights from 50-70 pounds, with a 6.75" brace height. IBO speed is 335 fps. A variety of color options are available, including Mossy Oak and Realtree camouflage.

Elite Ritual

PSE - The Carbon Air Stealth, the flagship of the all-new Evolve series, has a 6" brace height and measures 33" ATA. It offers 80-90 percent letoff and weighs just 3.2 pounds. The bow's IBO speed rating is 334 fps, and draw lengths are available from 25.5-31". You can get this one in Mossy Oak, Kryptek or black finishes.


PSE Carbon Air Stealth


Mathews -Measuring only 28" ATA, with an IBO speed rating of 343 fps, the Triax was designed to deliver stealth and speed. This 4.4-pound model has a 6" brace height and is available in draw weights from 50-70 pounds. You can get this one in draw lengths from 24.5-30.5" and either 75 or 85 percent letoff.

Bowtech -The Realm measures 30.75" ATA, is rated at 340 fps and weighs 4.3 pounds. The Overdrive Binary cam system allows for easy and precise adjustments to the draw cycle, based on shooter preference. The bow is available in draw lengths of 25-31" and draw weights of 50-70 pounds.

Arrows

Beman -The Defender carbon hunting shaft offers ±0.004" straightness and is available in 300, 340, 400 and 500 sizes. The shaft is made from American-manufactured carbon and has an adjustable S-nock and a precision-machined insert for extreme durability and accuracy.

Easton -The HEXX FOC is made of ultra-lightweight carbon for flatter shooting at higher speeds. The 6mm diameter arrow features ±0.001" straightness tolerance and is available in 260, 330 and 400 spines. It comes pre-installed with an H-nock and has 75- and 50-grain brass inserts to give the shooter added FOC weight options.


Easton HEXX FOC

Victory -The RIP TKO Elite boasts a shaft straightness of ±0.001" and is available in 300, 350 and 400 spines. The outside diameter measures just 0.266", and the shafts weigh 8.8 grains per inch. The SHOK outsert system is available in either aluminum or stainless steel for maximum penetration.

Gold Tip -The Kinetic Pierce Platinum is a micro-diameter carbon hunting shaft designed for maximum penetration. It has a straightness tolerance of ±0.0045" and is available in 250, 300, 340, 400 and 500 spines. Depending on your preference, this arrow can be fletched with either three or four micro-vanes from the factory.

Gold Tip Kinetic Pierce Platinum

Carbon Express -The Maxima Red SD is a micro-diameter carbon hunting arrow with an inside diameter of just 0.203" and a ±0.0025" straightness tolerance. It's available in either a 250 or 300 size, with per-inch grain weights of 8.3-9.4. The BullDog nock collar offers added protection.
